Hi everyone! It’s been a while, hasn’t it! Lots has been happening here at our little studio & event styling space. I’d like to introduce Cheryl, our intern who works on the parties with me, who will take you through some of the behind-the-scenes of the last couple of months! Take it away Cheryl!
Over the last couple of months, we had several events, some of which were just a few days apart (plus it was Christmas season..!), and in that small time frame between each event, we managed to make all kinds of props that were suited according to our clients’ party theme. Such fun! We’ll share these parties over the next few posts (so remember to check back!)
First up, we were part of a little girl’s 3rd birthday party! The theme which was chosen was indeed befitting of the sweet little girl! We styled the party around Chloe’s Sweet Shoppe, using a palette of pastel candy colours of yellow, pink and blue. We designed the stationery for this party, put together the venue and table decorations and styled the dessert table which had food from some amazing bakers (vendor credits below).
I’ll let the pictures do the talking!
The dessert table!
Sherbet coloured macarons
Handcrafted ribbon topiary
Meringue kisses (L) & cake pops (R)
Jelly beans in a gumball machine (R) & a pastel rainbow cake (too bad we don’t have the beautiful inside pic!) (R)
Favour bags (L) & cupcake decorating station (R)
And filled the room ceiling with strings of “lantern candies”
Tiffany chairs with sherbet coloured cushions completed the look!
All I could feel after putting up the last piece of decoration for this “Sweet Shoppe” birthday theme was pure satisfaction; it was such a strenuous process. We’re glad the lovely birthday girl, Chloe, and all guests enjoyed this cheery setup!
