Flowers, Workshops & Collaborations!

February’s shaping up to be an exciting and busy month! Other than all the Chinese New Year feasting and festivities, this is a month of flowers, workshops and collaborations!

IMG_2355 Valentine’s Day is just round the corner and how else better to show your appreciation and love through flowers & food? We’re getting ready some lovely arrangements so pre-order (by 11 Feb) our Valentine’s Day specials here!

I am also sooooo excited to be sharing this next piece of news with all of you! I will be hosting a small pop-up event Creative Day Out at my humble home studio, together with the lovely Rachel from Brown Paper Packages & The Pleasure Monger, on 22 Feb 2014, Saturday.

I will be teaching a floral workshop on the basics of putting together a hand-tied bouquet for those who have signed up beforehand, and the other activities for the rest of the afternoon include fabulous shoppingBrown Paper Packages is launching their latest collection of fine & contemporary china; lovely afternoon tea – baked goods on sale from Carpenter & Cook and twentysevenbyrachel; and last but not least, a style & shoot session!

Create your own lovely vignette!

So what’s this style & shoot session? As you may or may not know, Heaven in a Wild Flower carries a library of props for our event styling, as well as for a la carte rentals. So during Creative Day Out, we’d like to share this lovely collection with all photography, styling, blog & instagram-loving enthusiasts by inviting you to create, style and photograph your own unique vignettes. Rachel & I will be on hand to informally share our experience and tips on getting a great picture (and I’m sure we will also learn a thing or two too!). All in all, we hope that it’ll be a wonderful afternoon of fun, sharing and learning with new and old friends!

Do indicate your attendance and interest on our Creative Day Out page, and check back there for updated information on directions and activities. There are more workshops and collaborations lined up too, so watch this space!
